This was another day when the forecast mid-day temperatures were expected to get close to 30 Celsius, so the only option was an early morning stroll before it got too hot.
Lots of other walkers (some with dogs), runners and cyclists had the same idea, but even the cyclists didn't see to be travelling as fast as usual on the Wales Coastal Path. Upto about 08-30, the temperature was quite pleasant, but after that the temperature began to rise and it started to feel less comfortable as I walked around The Roodee.
At The Old Dee Bridge, I decide my best option was to head straight through the city centre to the Bull and Stirrup for breakfast.
Normally I would sit outside, but even at 09-10 it felt too warm, even in the shade.
After a good traditional breakfast and two cups of coffee, I was tempted to have a pint of Cwrw Eryri (Snowdonia Ale), but it was still only 10-10, so I headed to the Bus Exchange and caught the 10-34 bus home.
Birds seen or heard today included: Black headed gull, Lesser black back gull, Herring gull, Grey heron, House martin, Geat cormorant, Woodpigeon, Feral pigeon and Moorhen.
