We arrived at our usual parking place in Llanfairfechan to find it was already full and ended up parking on the sea front. This meant a slight change in our route, and we saw a few parts of Llanfairfechan that we hadn't seen before on foot.
The weather experienced today was changeable to say the least, it never rained, but we did gert a few brief hail showers. We had more sunshine than we expected, that meant at times we were feeling too warm in our Winter gear.
A local postie assisted us in getting back on the path we wanted at a point where notices implied we shouldn't be going.
We saw no-one until we reached the the main Druids Circle, with three different grouples huddled behind the stones having their lunch.
We left the circle hoping to find a sheltered spot for our lunch break, and were lucky enough to find an almost perfect spot -  sort of sheepfold that had good wind proof walls, stones to sit on in the warm sunshine.
The highlight of the day was seeing so many young lambs, the perfect sign that Spring is on the way.
Birds seen or heard today included: Mute swan, Oystercatcher, Herring gull, Eurpean robin, Common blackbird, Common pheasant, Raven, Woodpigeon, Meadow pipit (lots), Skylar and Red billed chough.
Overall a very enjoyable walk which some of us celebrated with apint of Lees Bitter at The Blue Bell Inn at Halkyn on the way home.
One member had a double celebration - Everton won!
