When? Started: 1993 Who? Started with staff and friends from U H S, Chester. Organiser: Martyn Harris We walk every Wednesday and Saturdays, New Years day and May Day. How many walk? Walks take place as long as there are at least 2 wanting to walk on that day. More walk on a Wednesday than on a Saturday. Most ever: 29. Current group size walking: 2-7 in mid-week and 2-4 on Saturday. Where do we walk? Saturday: Anywhere in North and Mid-Wales, Peak District, Shropshire and the Long Mynd and as far North as the Trough of Bowland. Thursday: Anywhere within about 40 miles of Chester. Type of walk: Distance: 6 – 14 miles (but usually under 10 miles). Climb: up to 4000’ (but usually very much less!). Ed's Welsh Lockdown Wanders: Conwy Mountain and More Saturday 7th November b2020

Ed's Local Conwy Lockdown Wander in the Carneddau Saturday 17th October 2020

Marvelous Mountains in Conwy - the Carneddau.
Distance: A the 14 Miler (mainly in the mist) from Bwlch Y Dduafaen car park with Alex.
Time: 8 hours 30 minutes. Climb: 2000'.
Route:
Drum, Foel Fras, Carnedd Gwenllian, Foel Grach, Carnedd Llewellyn, Foel Grach, Carnedd Gwenllian, Foel Fras, Drum, Carnedd Ddelw.
All within Conwy (just)

Ed's Welsh Conwy Lockdown Wanders October 2020

Sunday 4th October
Short solo Angel bay wander 3 miles
Grey seal pup trying to get to mum.
"Slow down".
Made it, I'm ready for lunch.
 Thursday 8th October
A Fungus Foray from Llyn Crafnant up Mynydd Deulyn and Back via Llyn Geirionydd and a visit to the Clogwyn y Fuwch Slate Quarry.

Painting the trig point on the Great Orme.
 A 5 miles walk  explorer the Great Orme with Alex and Lorraine.
