Group: Martyn, Nigel, Mike and Ed.
The weather today was kind to us, very little wind and even with temperatures around 5 Celsius , it never seemed that cold.
It was very much a roller coaster of  walk, with a couple of loose stone paths to climb and rather unpleasant steep descents to follow.
The views today, were pretty good, and we did see that the high tops of the Carneddau were decked in snow.
birds seen or heard today included: European robin, Raven (including one giving a timbling display), Commn blackbird, Common pheasant, Sonechat, Grey wagtail, Common buzzard, Red billed chough, Carrion crow and a Red kite (seen by the rebels).
Mike claimed this was the best walk this month, but it was the first Saturday walk of the month!
Nevertheless it was a walk that was worthy of celebrating at The Albion in Conwy with a refreshing pint of real ale. ConwyBrewery's  Clogwyn Gold went down well as did Ed's choice of Coffee Stout from the Big Hand Brewery. Only Nigel missed out as he was the driver, but he knew on this occasion at least two of us were very appreciative happy bunnies!
i arrived home to find my boots didn't need cleaning - alway a bonus.
