Distance: 2. 5 miles. Climb: 33'.
Time: 1 hour 23 minutes. Overall walk average: 1.8 m.p.h.
I decided to take my daily walk before breakfast to see if the way the birds sang would be different in some way. The lack of any other noises certainly made the singing seem much louder.
The morning started just after 04-15, when I went outside to see the Flower Moon, pretty good, but not crystal clear. I actually set off on my walk at sunrise. It was quite cool and a low mist clung over the fields. Distant views were very misty and Moel famaua could't be seen at any point during the walk.  Arriving at the Riverside on River Lane and looking across the river,  I had a superb view of the Sun rising above Chester.
Even at this early hour, I wasn't the only one out and about, with a few cyclist seen on the Wales Coast Path on the opposite side of the river. On my side two cyclists that didn't behave as though they knew anything about social distancing or if they did they weren't applying it as one went past within a foot of me.
Birds seen or heard today included: Common blackbird, Woodpigeon, Goldfinch, Mallard, Chiffchaff, Common whitethroat, Dunock, Eoropean robin, Oystercatcher, Great tit, Winter wren, Greenfinch, Collared dove, Carrion crow, Jackdaw, Blackcap and Song thrush.
There was one rabbit at the Riverside on River Lane, but it was too cold for any butterflies to show.
An enjoyable experience, but I a not sure that it will be repeatedany time soon.
