Distance: 2.5 miles. Climb: 70'.
With rain expected to arrive late morning, I decided to set off earlier than usual.
It was overcast and felt quite cool, but at least it didn't rain. Only as I arrived home did I get a hint of the Sun's warmth getting through.
Not many people out this morning, only two with dogs, three on their own and thee joggers. I thought it was going to be a cyclist free walk, but alas just before I reached the end of the Riverside Path I saw one heading my way. Thankfully this was a well behaved cyclist.
Birds seen or heard today included: House sparrow, Common blackbird, Collared dove, Chiffchaff, European robin, Blackcap, Dunnock, Winter wren, Lesser black back gull, Herring gull, Black headed gull, Common chaffinch, Greenfinch, Black billed magpie, Common whitethroat, Goldfinch, Common starling, Woodpigeon and Barn swallow.
