Distance: 3.8 miles. Climb: 85'.
Time: 1 hour 21 minutes. On the move walking average: 3.1 m.p.h. Overall walk average: 2.8 m.p.h.
Wind Speed: 0 - 5.2 m.p.h. Temperature: 3.7 Celsius.
Group: Martyn.
I set off just after 06-00, hoping to catch the Sun as it came up. Unfortunately there was too much cloud cover, so the hoped for spectacular red sunrise influenced by the desert sandstorm wasn't on show.  Nevertheless it was still an opportunity to catch up with some of the late risers adding their pitch to the dawn chorus.
Birds seen or heard today included: Common blackbird, Dunnock, Winter wren, Song thrush, Blue tit, Great tit, Greenfinch, Collared dove, Carrion crow, Jackdaw, Mallard, Woodpigeon, Feral pigeon, House sparrow, Black billed magpie, Black headed gull, Lesser black back gull, Herring gull, Common starling and House sparrow.
Even at this early hour, I wasn't alone, one walker, a dog walker, jogger were already out, as well as a few cyclists (not all on their way to work).
